Every year we spend approximately one month in Ecuador. We distribute donations, feed and share with the children, plan activities with them and assist local volunteers. This is a time of the year where both missionaries and children look forward with excitement. Seeing the children’s little faces of happiness when they receive a pair of shoes, new clothes and other donations brings emotions beyond words. The sense of satisfaction and accomplishment is an experience you will not get anywhere else.
Many young and women have travel from Chicago to Ecuador, not knowing what to expect. When they come back home they understanding the meaning of running hot water, a pair of shoes and a hot meal.
