Most of the children who benefit from our services live in extreme poverty. Some are orphans or abandoned, while others are the children of single mothers. There's also a group of kids living with elderly grandparents who are unable to provide adequate care. Their situation is so dire that having a balanced meal or a pair of shoes is considered a luxury.
